Lactusan DUO is a unique combination of a prebiotic with a natural absorbent complex and a vitamin mix – cleaning and restoration from the inside.  It helps restore the intestinal microflora, removes waste and toxins, normalizes the activity of the gastrointestinal tract.

How does Lactusan DUO work?

1. Prebiotic complex: Lactulose stimulates the growth of beneficial microflora (Lactobacillusacidophilus, Lactobacillusbifidus), Inulin (from chicory extract) is a bifidostimulator, and also helps to weaken the inflammatory process in the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines.  Lactulose and Inulin inhibit the development of pathogenic bacteria, protect against intestinal infections, promote vitamin synthesis and mineral assimilation;  stimulate non-specific immunity. 
   
   The reproduction of Lacto- and Bifidobacteria (Lactobacillusacidophilus, Lactobacillusbifidus), which break down carbohydrates with the formation of lactic acid, leads to an increase in acidity in the lumen of the large intestine and stimulates its peristalsis.
   
   When taking inulin for 14 days, the number of bifidobacteria increases by 70% and the assimilation of trace elements calcium, magnesium and iron improves by 50%.  This makes inulin an indispensable assistant in the treatment of dysbacteriosis and osteoporosis.
2. Natural enterosorbents: eliminate toxic inflammation in the intestine, normalize its motor activity.
   
   Apple pectin has a high sorption capacity (hundreds of times higher than that of activated carbon).  Binds and removes various types of pathogenic microorganisms, external and internal toxins from the body.
   
   The pectin gel formed in the lumen of the intestine stimulates peristalsis (by increasing the volume of chyme in the lumen, without affecting the mucous membrane and smooth muscles of the intestine)
   
   Chitosan promotes detoxification of the body (helps the main filter of the body – the liver).  Adsorbs and removes from the body salts of heavy metals, mineral fertilizers, chemical dyes, radionuclides, preservatives and other «improvers» of the taste of food products (E-additives), which can accumulate in the body for years, poisoning and being the cause of the development of various chronic diseases.
3. The vitamin-mineral complex contributes to the normalization of metabolism in the body, has a tonic effect.

Release form: 30 capsules of 500 mg in a plastic bottle.

Directions: Lactuzan DUO is used in adults and children from 12 years of age, 1 capsule 3 times a day.  The recommended course is 1 month.  It is advisable to repeat the course 2-3 times a year if necessary.

Contraindications, special precautions for use: individual intolerance of components;  pregnant and breastfeeding women.  It is advisable to consult a doctor before use.

Main side effects: Not found.  The drug has a mild effect and good tolerance with long-term use.

Shelf life and storage conditions: 24 months from the date of manufacture.  The production date and series are indicated on the bottle and packaging.  Store at a temperature from -5˚С to +20˚С, relative humidity a little more than 75%.
